Postage & Packing

We custom pack every order as it is placed, ensuring the quality of every petal.

Our orders are shipped either by  Royal Mail or Courier. We offer free P&P for orders over £60.00 within the UK.

Post and Packing for orders to the Highlands & Islands of Scotland, IoM, IoW, Irish Republic and overseas orders will be calculated and charged at cost please contact us for prices.

Delivery Policy

We aim to despatch orders as soon as possible. We normally despatch within 2 working days. Our Couriers have a 3 – 5 days delivery time. However please allow up to seven working days to take receipt of your order. Guaranteed Next Day Delivery can be arranged, if required, at an additional cost.

How long will the flowers last?

All orders have a Best Before date of 6-8 weeks from the date of dispatch depending upon the type of flower. Most of the flowers will last for much longer but as a natural product this varies from type to type so cannot be guaranteed. They do not “go off” as such, but will eventually fade and lose their vibrancy.

Are the flowers organic?

All the flowers are grown in my own garden either from seed or small plants. They are not sprayed or treated with any chemicals or insecticides and are not close to any roads or highways. However, my garden is not certified as organic.

What do the flowers taste like?

No flavourings or colourings are added to the flowers. They will have a sugary taste with a crunchy texture and some will have a slight “dried grass” flavour. A few, such as Lavender, will have their own flavour. Most have no flavour at all.

When will I receive my order?

Orders will be packed the day following receipt of your order and dispatched via Royal Mail or Courier. Online orders are individually acknowledged by email, with the date of dispatch . Orders will only be posted Monday to Friday, no orders are posted on Saturdays.

Will you include a receipt with my order?

No receipt will be included with the order unless specifically requested.

Can you include a personal message with my order?

A personal, handwritten message on a small plain white, folded card, can be included at no extra cost. Include your message on the checkout page or email Meadowsweet Flowers with your instructions.

How should I store my flowers?

Crystallised flowers are best stored at room temperature away from direct light. They must be kept dry and away from damp atmospheres. Do not store in a refrigerator. The better they are stored, the longer they will last.

How can I get my order sent to a different address?

An alternative shipping address can be added on the checkout page.

Do you accept other methods of payment?

We are now able to accept Credit/Debit Card phone payments. Payment can also be made online via PayPal (you do not need a Paypal account to use this facility),  and we can also accept payment by cheque (made out to J. Fade and posted to the address on the contacts page)

Products

While we do our best to maintain sufficient stock levels, due to the seasonal nature of our products, we cannot guarantee availability of stock at all times.
We have made every effort to display as accurately as possible the colours of our products, however, because the flowers are a natural product, there will be some variation from the colours and sizes illustrated, although we do our best to match to your requirements.

Edible Goods

All the flower products supplied are natural and edible, there are no flavourings or colours added.

Payment

No goods will be despatched before payment is received. Cheque payment may delay the processing of your order.

Returns Policy

Our flowers usually arrive perfectly. Occasionally, a few petals will break, a small dab of icing puts the flower back together again beautifully. If the box is completely destroyed, we will replace it at no charge once we receive the old one back. Call or email us and we will promply attend to any problems.

Privacy and Security
